In-Person & Virtual Experiences

EAST Conference 2022 will be held from March 15-17 at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

EAST Conference

In-Person

Programs that choose to attend EAST Conference in-person will receive full access to the event, including admission to all educational breakout sessions, hands-on tech experiences, recognition opportunities for winning schools, and invitations to special events like Senior Breakfast and Fusion: A Night at the Museum. In-person participants are also eligible to apply for Leadership Team opportunities and eligible to receive a Judges' Choice Award.

EAST Conference

Virtual

Programs that are unable to attend EAST Conference in-person will receive an experience as close to the “real thing” as possible. Virtual attendees will still have access to all virtual breakout sessions, important general sessions, and limited networking opportunities.

* EAST programs that choose to attend the virtual experience due to COVID will be required to submit a letter from their administrator detailing the decision. This letter must be sent to EAST well in advance of the Conference.

COVID-19 Safety Policies

EAST is currently crafting a health and safety plan for the in-person experience and will share more details closer to the event. As always, we will continue to monitor and follow CDC guidelines and recommendations by local health officials, and we will make updates accordingly.

Please note that at this time masks WILL be mandatory for EAST Conference 2022 attendees. Proof of negative tests and vaccines WILL NOT be required. EAST reserves the right to make changes to this policy, as staff continue to monitor the development of COVID-19 in addition to CDC recommendations.

Conference attendance is REQUIRED for all active EAST programs involved at the full level of support! We also invite the general public to visit the Conference to experience what students accomplish through EAST. Please note that a Government issued ID will be requested when guests are checking in at registration.

Registration, Pass & Ticket Purchase Deadlines

January 31, 2022 - Deadline for EAST programs to register for Conference and declare their intent to attend either the in-person or virtual experience. Please note that there is flexibility to change the attendance type (i.e. in-person or virtual) as we get closer to Conference.
February 28, 2022 - Deadline for EAST programs to register their complimentary Conference Team (i.e. students, facilitators, chaperones, administrators) and additional Full Access Passes
March 9, 2022 - Payment & Refund Request Deadline for Additional Full Access Passes. Credit card or check accepted. Purchase Orders will NOT be accepted. We must have payment in hand or your registration will be dropped.
March 11, 2022 - General Session Ticket Pre-Sale Deadline. Virtual tickets must be purchased online with a credit card no later than March 11. Note: this is the only opportunity to purchase virtual General Session tickets. In-person attendees can purchase General Session tickets online or at the registration counter during the event.
